羊膜
羊膜是羊膜动物（包括爬行动物，鸟类 和哺乳动物）的胚胎所具有的一种结构。其本质是一层封闭的生物膜，其内包裹着的空间称为羊膜囊，内含的液体称为羊水。羊膜的主要作用是保护胚胎的发育不受外界的干扰，例如剧烈机械刺激和温度变化等。从发育的角度来说，羊膜的外侧部分来自于中胚层而内侧部分来自于外胚层。

The amnion is a membrane that when first formed, closely covers the embryo. It fills with the amniotic fluid which causes the amnion to expand and become the amniotic sac which serves to provide a protective environment for the developing embryo. It is a feature of the amniotes which includes reptiles, birds, and mammals. Amphibians and fish are excluded from this group. The amnion stems from the extraembryonic somatic mesoderm on the outer side and the extraembryonic ectoderm on the inner side.
