狐步（英语：Foxtrot）源于非洲美裔人的会所，是一种社交舞（Ballroom dance），俗称慢四步，用4/4拍的音乐。

狐步取名于它的创作者哈利·福克斯（Harry Fox），与狐狸并无关系。至于狐步是模仿狐狸跳舞的说法，仅仅是一个传说，应该是根据英文“Fox-trot”的意思是“狐狸快速行走”。基本的节拍（rhythm）是“慢-慢-快-快”。每一个“慢”占两拍，每个“快”占一拍。狐步起于1914年，后来在国际标准舞创立之后，狐步舞步有根本的变化。基本的节拍从“慢-慢-快-快”变为“慢-快-快”。基本舞步有羽步（Feather Step）、三步（Three Step）、左转（Reverse Turn）和右转（Natural Turn）。其风格文雅、轻柔、恬静、幽宛、安详。
