白铁是镀锌铁不锈钢俗称，英文 Galvanized iron，简称 G.I.。铁或钢透过空气或水气，一定会生锈氧化，而白铁则是一种铁合金，不会受到氧的作用而生锈，所以很多家庭用品及公共建设如通风槽多采用白铁，虽成本较贵，然使用寿命较长。制作白铁器具的工艺称为「白铁工程」。
