草本茶（英语：Herbal tea），又名花草茶、药草茶、青草茶，是用药用植物冲泡的饮料，而不是用茶属植物冲泡的，通常直称为茶。草本茶可以用新鲜的或者干的花，叶子，种子或根用开水冲泡或煮几分钟。种子和根通常需要在炉子上煮几分钟。然后通常是过滤掉渣滓，加糖（如果喜爱）饮用。但是也有一些药草可以直接用冷水浸泡饮用。

Herbal tea, or, more properly, tisane (UK /tɪˈzɑːn/, US /tɪˈzæn/), is any beverage made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot water, and usually does not contain caffeine. These drinks are distinguished from true teas (black, green, white, yellow, oolong, etc., which are prepared from the cured leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis), as well as from decaffeinated tea, in which the caffeine has been removed. In many countries, the word 'tea' may only be used for leaves of Camellia sinensis and therefore the phrase 'herbal tea' is a contradiction in terms, and should not be used. These beverages are therefore labelled infusion or tisane.
