扁豆（学名：Lablab purpureus、英语：hyacinth bean、Indian bean、calavance、Egyptian bean、seim），又称鹊豆、蛾眉豆、肉豆、稨豆、白豆、眉豆。 ，为豆科扁豆属下的一个种。是广布于非洲、印度次大陆与印尼等热带地区的食用作物。扁豆在这些地区是重要的蛋白质来源，在印度，扁豆的嫩豆荚像菜豆一样被煮食，并是许多种咖喱的原料。在东亚与南亚扁豆可像黄豆一样被做成豆腐或者天贝。

虽然扁豆原产于非洲，且可生长在几乎所有南撒哈拉地区，但对大多数非洲人而言却非常陌生，反而在亚洲被广泛利用。扁豆是适合贫穷地区食用的作物之一，因为其容易种植、能在较酸、含铝较高且较贫瘠的土地生长，且产量丰富又较不受干旱影响，在干季仍维持生产。扁豆也有助于土地肥力的培养，其根可从地底深部吸收养分，且共生的根瘤菌可大幅提升土中的含氮量 。

Lablab purpureus is a species of bean in the family Fabaceae. It is native to Africa and it is cultivated throughout the tropics for food. English language common names include hyacinthbean, lablab-bean bonavist bean/pea, dolichos bean, seim bean, lablab bean, Egyptian kidney bean, Indian bean, bataw and Australian pea. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Lablab.
