神武天皇（日语：神武天皇／じんむてんのう〔じんむてんわう〕），是神话中日本第一代天皇，天照大神后裔，最早在《古事记》中则名为神倭伊波礼毘古命（日语：神倭伊波礼琵古命／かむやまといわれひこのみこと）。较晚成书的《日本书纪》中的汉字译为神日本磐余彦尊（日语：神日本磐余彦尊／かむやまといわれひこのみこと），传说他创建最早的大和王权，为日本开国之祖与天皇之滥觞。

Emperor Jimmu(神武天皇Jinmu-tennō) was the first Emperor of Japan, according to legend. His accession is traditionally dated as 660 BCE. According to Japanese mythology, he is a descendant of the sun goddess Amaterasu, through her grandson Ninigi, as well as a descendant of the storm god Susanoo. He launched a military expedition from Hyuga near the Inland Sea, captured Yamato, and established this as his center of power. In modern Japan, Jimmu's accession is marked as National Foundation Day on February 11.
