菊阳町 Kikuyō, Kumamoto

菊阳町是位于日本熊本县中部的一个城镇，位于熊本市东北方，属菊池郡。由于距离熊本市中心仅15公里，搭铁路或巴士可在半小时内抵达，因此逐渐成为熊本市的通勤城市，现为熊本县内人口成长率最高的行政区。
由于位于菊池郡的南侧，因此命名为「菊阳」。

Kikuyō(菊阳町Kikuyō-machi) is a town located in Kikuchi District, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 29,627 and a density of 788.58 persons per km². The total area is 37.57 km².
Kikuyō borders the city of Kumamoto on the north-east side and is centered on Highway 57 and the Aso-bound train line. The town is growing, due to the presence of a Tokyo Electric plant and the current construction of a new Fujifilm plant on highway 57.
