The Korahites in the Bible were that portion of the Kohathites that descended from Korah.
They were an important branch of the singers of the Kohathite division (2Chronicles 20:19). Eleven psalms are attributed to the Korahites: Psalm 42, Psalms 44 - 49, Psalm 84, Psalm 85, Psalm 87, and Psalm 88.
