Archaeolithophyllum

Archaeolithophyllum is a genus of conceptacle-bearing red alga that falls in the coralline stem group. It somewhat resembles Lithophyllum.

As of today, Archaeolithophyllumis the only Palaeozoic coralline to bear clear conceptacles, although the earlier Graticula does bear reproductive structures.
