莫里逊组（英语：Morrison Formation），或译摩里山层，是位于美国西部与加拿大的一系列侏㑩纪晚期层积岩层。是北美洲产有最多恐龙化石的地层。组成的岩石种类包括泥岩、沙岩、沙泥岩以及石灰岩，颜色呈现浅灰色、灰绿色或红色。大多数化石出现在绿色的沙泥岩床与其下方的沙岩，属于侏㑩纪时期的河流与泛滥平原之残留物。

莫里逊组的中心位于美国的怀俄明与科罗拉多，突出部分位于美国的蒙大拿、北达科他、南达科他、内布拉斯加、堪萨斯，以及加拿大的萨克基万、亚伯达。另有一些狭长部分位于奥克拉荷马、德克萨斯、新墨西哥、亚历桑那、犹他与爱达荷。总涵盖面积约150万平方公里。但是其中受考古学家挖掘研究的只有小部分。其余超过75%的区域则有不同的现况：从大草原向东仍然是掩埋的状态；较大的一部分则在因为西边的落矶山脉成形而受侵蚀进而摧毁。

The Morrison Formation is a distinctive sequence of Upper Jurassic sedimentary rock that is found in the western United States, which has been the most fertile source of dinosaur fossils in North America. It is composed of mudstone, sandstone, siltstone and limestone and is light gray, greenish gray, or red. Most of the fossils occur in the green siltstone beds and lower sandstones, relics of the rivers and floodplains of the Jurassic period.
