Nagqu Prefecture (also Naqu or Nagchu; *****: ནག་ཆུ་ས་ཁུལ་, Wylie: Nag-chu Sa-khul; simplified Chinese:那曲地区; traditional Chinese:那曲地區; pinyin:Nàqū Dìqū) is the largest prefecture of the ***** Autonomous Region. Nagqu has a total area of 450,537 km (173,953 sq mi). The prefecture is divided into 11 counties and the capital of Nagchu Town is located within Nagqu County.
