This expulsion process of geopressured system is episodic and generally forms big oil field or gas field in the transition zone of pressure and normal pressure zone in geopressured basin.

Physiological reactions like the bends are caused by divers incorrectly readjusting to normal atmospheric pressure.

Now, 'normal' systolic blood pressure is defined as less than 120 mmHg, and a normal diastolic pressure is less than 80 mmHg.

So,   the oil inside the pipe is pressurized (usually around 14 times normal atmospheric pressure or  over 200 PSI) to ensure that no bubbles can form.

In fact, a 1979 paper authored by Friedrich Luft and colleagues, described an experiment where they gave people with normal blood pressure various amounts of sodium, going as high as around 87 grams of salt.

Friedrich Luft

So while the pressure at Venus's surface is too high for humans, 50 kilometers up in the atmosphere, the pressure's equal to the normal pressure we're used to here on Earth.

To protect its crew a submarine must therefore be able to keep the air inside at a relatively normal pressure, which then creates a massive pressure difference between the inside and outside that its hull must resist.

Atmospheric pressure

Normal pressure)

15 year average mean sea level pressure for June, July, and August (top) and December, January, and February (bottom). ERA-15 re-analysis.
Kollsman-type barometric aircraft altimeter (as used in North America) displaying an altitude of 80 ft (24 m).
Variation in atmospheric pressure with altitude, computed for 15 °C and 0% relative humidity.

Atmospheric pressure, sometimes also called barometric pressure, is the pressure exerted by the weight of air in the atmosphere of Earth (or that of another planet). In most circumstances atmospheric pressure is closely approximated by the hydrostatic pressure caused by the weight of air above the measurement point. Low-pressure areas have less atmospheric mass above their location, whereas high-pressure areas have more atmospheric mass above their location. Likewise, as elevation increases, there is less overlying atmospheric mass, so that atmospheric pressure decreases with increasing elevation. On average, a column of air one square centimeter in cross-section, measured from sea level to the top of the atmosphere, has a mass of about 1.03 kg and weight of about 10.1 N (2.27 lbf) That force over one square centimeter is a pressure of 10.1 N/cm or 101000 N/m. (A column one square inch in cross-section would have a weight of about 14.7 lb, or about 65.4 N.)
