Nuptse is a mountain in the Khumbu region of the Mahalangur Himal, in the Nepalese Himalayas. It lies two kilometres WSW of Mount Everest. Nuptse is ***** for "west peak", as it is the western segment of the Lhotse-Nuptse massif.
