物理海洋学
物理海洋学，海洋学的一个分支，研究海洋内部及邻近之大气的各种物理性质，以及牵涉海洋所发生的各种物理现象。主要的研究主题包括海流、潮汐、波浪、海水循环、海水及海底沉积物的物理性质，海水与大气间的关系等，部分研究主题与气象学关系密切。
物理海洋学是成海洋学划分的几个子领域之一。其他包括海洋生物学，海洋化学和海洋地质学。
