质子交换膜 (proton exchange membrane)或称高分子电解质膜 (polymer electrolyte membrane) (简称PEM) 是一种离子聚合物的半透膜，设计用于质子传导隔绝氧或氢 补要应用于质子交换膜燃料电池的膜电极组 (MEA)，分离反应物及传导质子。

A proton exchange membrane or polymer electrolyte membrane (PEMfc) is a semipermeable membrane generally made from ionomers and designed to conduct protons while being impermeable to gases such as oxygen or hydrogen. This is their essential function when incorporated into a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell or of a proton exchange membrane electrolyser : separation of reactants and transport of protons.
