空中缆车又称吊车、空中缆车、流笼（缆车又可以指缆索铁路），是交通工具的一种，通常在崎岖的山坡上运载乘客或货物上下山。索道是利用悬挂在半空中的钢索，承托及牵引客车或货车。除了车站外，一般在中途每隔一段距离建造承托钢索的支架。部分的索道采用吊挂在钢索之下的吊车；亦有索道是没有车厢的，乘客坐在开放在半空的吊椅。使用吊椅的索道在滑雪区最为常见。
