Sonodynamic therapy
(重定向自Sonosensitizer)
Sonodynamic therapy, also described as activated therapy, ultrasound activated PDT, sonophotodynamic therapy and other terms, with no clear distinction in usage, is an alternative cancer therapy which claims to use ultrasound and light to enhance the cytotoxic effects of drugs described as "sonosensitizers". It has been tested in vitro and in animals, but the results are not considered compelling and it is rejected by mainstream science.
