龙舌兰酒（西班牙文：Tequila），是一种墨西哥产、使用龙舌兰草的心（Piña，在植物学上，指的是这种植物的鳞茎部份）为原料所制造出的含酒精饮品，属蒸馏酒一类。

通常提到龙舌兰酒时，可能意指的是下列几种酒之中的一种，但如果没有特别说明，最有可能的还是指为人广知的Tequila，其他几款酒则大都是墨西哥当地人才较为熟悉。

还有一些其他种类，同样也是使用龙舌兰为原料所制造的酒类，例如奇瓦瓦州生产的Sotol就是。这类的酒通常都是比较区域性的产品而不是很出名，而当地制造厂商为了要打响知名度，常特别以行销手法或广告撰文强调其Sotol并非传统所称之龙舌兰酒，但依据国际知名且具中南美16国家政府相关组织联合成立的中南美洲龙舌兰产物学会认定，Sotol虽制造其原植物原料并非正统的蓝色龙舌兰草，但是其原料、一种调羹花属（Dasylirion）沙漠植物，因为与蓝色龙舌蓝同属天门冬科，所制酒类仍分类于龙舌兰酒。而每年定期举办之「年度最佳龙舌兰酒」之国际活动，该酒厂仍持续报名比赛，分别于2005、2007、2008年获得最佳龙舌兰酒（Best of the Best Tequila Prize）之殊荣。

Tequila (Spanish  [teˈkila] ) is a regional specific name for a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, 65 km (40 mi) northwest of Guadalajara, and in the highlands (Los Altos) of the central western Mexican state of Jalisco. Although tequila is similar to mezcal, modern tequila differs somewhat in the method of its production, in the use of only blue agave plants, as well as in its regional specificity.
