黑云母
黑云母是云母类矿物中的一种，为硅酸盐矿物。
黑云母主要产于变质岩中，在花岗岩等其他岩石也有。黑云母的颜色从黑到褐、红色或绿色都有，具有玻璃光泽。形状为板状、柱状。近年来，黑云母也被广泛应用在真石漆等装饰涂料中。

More generally, it refers to the dark mica series, primarily a solid-solution series between the iron-endmember annite, and the magnesium-endmember phlogopite; more aluminous end-members include siderophyllite. Biotite was named by J.F.L. Hausmann in 1847 in honor of the French physicist Jean-Baptiste Biot, who, in 1816, researched the optical properties of mica, discovering many properties.
