油桃木科
油桃木科又名多柱树科，只有两属25种，全部生长在热带美洲。有许多种类是濒危品种，有的品种果实可以食用，有的品种为观赏花卉，也有的品种木材可以抗腐和驱除白蚁。
1981年的克朗奎斯特分类法将本科分到山茶目，1998年根据基因亲缘关系分类的APG 分类法将其列入新设立的金虎尾目
