君士坦丁七世（Porphyrogennetos，生于紫室者，905年9月2日－959年11月9日），拜占庭帝国皇帝，912年至959年在位（其中920年至945年与岳父罗曼努斯一世为同朝君主）。 君士坦丁七世是利奥六世之子，亚历山大的侄子，因为其出生于皇宫的紫室之中，故此获得了外号Porphyrogennetos，以示其血统尊贵。君士坦丁七世以热心学术研究闻名，着有《帝国行政论》（De Administrando Imperio）、《典仪论》（De Ceremoniis）等著作。 但君士坦丁七世在位时期拜占庭帝国并不是没有发生战争，如896年利奥六世（拜占庭）向保加利亚西美昂大帝签订了每年进贡的条件在913年被亚历山大取消而引起战争，最后西美昂大帝被加冕为沙皇，保加利亚才退兵。以及基辅罗斯的两次入侵，一样谈了条件才退兵。

He was the son of the emperor Leo VI and his fourth wife, Zoe Karbonopsina, and the nephew of his predecessor, the emperor Alexander. |
