史蒂芬·库恩斯（英语：Stephen Coonts，1946年7月19日－）。美国军事小说作家、律师、飞行员、前美国海军军官。

史蒂芬·库恩斯于1971年至1973年越战期间，担任美国海军航空队飞行员，在企业号航空母舰 (CVN-65)服役，于北越、南越、老挝等地驾驶A-6闯入者式攻击机运行任务，累计飞行时数达1600小时，曾获颁飞行优异十字勋章等勋奖章。战后担任A-6闯入者式攻击机飞行教官，以及尼米兹号航空母舰 (CVN-68)的弹射器及拦截设备助理主官，1977年以上尉阶荣誉退役。

史蒂芬·库恩斯本人，及越战时与其搭档的轰炸领航员Stanley W. Bryant（后晋升至海军二星少将、Rear Admiral Upper Half），是库恩斯小说中，最受欢迎的杰克·格拉夫顿（Jake Grafton）系列的人物混合原型。小说人物杰克·格拉夫顿是一名海军飞行员。

Stephen Coonts (born July 19, 1946) is an American thriller and suspense novelist.

Coonts grew up in Buckhannon, West Virginia, a small coal-mining town, and earned a B.A. degree in political science at West Virginia University in 1968. He entered the Navy upon graduation and went to flight school, earning his wings as a naval aviator in 1969. He flew an A-6 Intruder medium attack plane during the Vietnam War, where he served on two combat cruises aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). He accumulated 1600 hours in the A-6 Intruder and earned a number of Navy commendations, including the Distinguished Flying Cross. (His navigator-bombardier on his first cruise was LTjg Stanley W. Bryant, who later became a Rear Admiral and deputy commander-in-chief of the US naval forces in Europe.)
