卡伦数

卡伦数是形式如 $n \times 2^n+1$ （写作 $C_n$ ）的自然数。

若质数 $p=8k-3=2n-1$ ， $C_n$ 能被 $p$ 整除。根据费马小定理，若p是奇质数， $p$ 能整除 $C_{m(k)}$ 对于 $m(k)=(2^k-k)(p-1) - k$ (对于 $k>0$ )。

广义卡伦数有时定义为 $n \times b^n + 1$ 而且 $n + 2 > b$ 。胡道尔数有时称为第二种卡伦数。
