Ogose(越生町Ogose-machi) is a town located in Iruma District, Saitama Prefecture, in the central Kantō region of Japan. As of As of 1 February 2016, the town had an estimated population of 11,638 and a population density of 288 persons per km². Its total area was 40.39 km². The town is famous for its Prunus mume orchards.
